Connect with Your Colleagues

AIRI is more than a national organization of more than 80 independent, non-profit research institutes. It is a community. AIRI members believe “none of us is as smart as all of us.” By working together and freely sharing operational and experiential learnings, the scope of research can be accelerated and expanded for biological and behavioral sciences.

AIRI provides a variety of resources and services for independent research institutes, but none more important than member networking. Member institutions consistently rank networking opportunities as the primary benefit of membership. AIRI networking tools better enable member institutions to complete invaluable research that advances knowledge and improves human health.

The most popular peer community networking resources are the annual meetings, IT summits, listservs, and quarterly track zooms.

The AIRI Annual Meeting has consistently been the one meeting that members make sure they attend each year. Member committees program all of the focus groups, breakouts, small groups, and general sessions on today's most revelant issues and presentations.

The AIRI Listservs are one of the most popular benefits of an AIRI Institutional Membership.  It's a great way to network and stay connected throughout the year. Here's where you can post a question to a group, or respond to a colleague's question. You must be on a specific listserv in order to post or receive to that listserv. You may request to join a maximum of 4 listservs that best fit your role at your institution. Use of the AIRI Listservs requires all members to comply with the AIRI Listservs Terms and Conditions.

If you'd like to request to subscribe to a listserv, be removed, or have any questions, please contact our Executive Director, David Issing.
